Adapting to a vegan lifestyle has meant leaving dairy behind and charting unknown dietary waters. And I LOVE pizza. So this has been somewhat a particularly difficult adaptation. And while many of these dairy-free cheeses are delicious, it can be difficult to find solid tasty options at a pizza place.
Enter Parlor. With a build-your-own pizza option, I crafted a delightful cheese-free dish that both myself and my non-vegan husband enjoyed. Fresh kale, jalapenos, sliced mushrooms and caramelized onions over a red sauce made the wood-fired creation wonderful.
In a city that prides itself on deep-dish pizza, it's always nice to find a place that offers a bit of something for everyone :)
